Screen Shot 5 of 20: Working in Design Mode
- When the formatting operation is complete, xlWorkbench places
the new model in design mode.
- Working with a model in design mode lets you take advantage of
all the features offered by the xlWorkbench System.
- For example, in design mode you can add forms to
the model to make
workbook navigation more efficient. You can set up range
reports and
link them to sheets and forms to control printed output. And you
can
set properties for each sheet, form,
and range report in the model to tune
the xlWorkbench workspace to your preferred working style.
- If you create models and distribute them to others, you can set
a password
to lock these users out of design mode and prevent them from modifying
your design mode settings.
