Screen Shot 2 of 20: Activating xlWorkbench
- The xlWorkbench System stays out of your way until you activate it.
When you activate xlWorkbench, special toolbars are displayed and
custom shortcut keys are enabled to give you access to system features.
- You activate xlWorkbench with the "toggle switch" on the System Menu.
- You can activate and deactivate xlWorkbench at any time with one
menu selection or keystroke, allowing you to switch between the standard
Excel
environment and the enhanced xlWorkbench workspace as you wish.
- In the screenshot below, xlWorkbench has been activated. The Excel
toolbars
have been hidden, and the System Toolbars have been displayed to
provide a focused, uncluttered workspace.
- xlWorkbench provides a primary toolbar for accessing the most common
xlWorkbench commands, two toolbars for navigating between and within
workbooks,
one toolbar for working in design mode, and one toolbar that can be
customized
with any native Excel command.
