Menus and Toolbars Reference (Design)

AWB provides three toolbars to help you navigate and print models in Workbench Mode:  the Main, Navigation, and User toolbars.  The Main and Navigation toolbars are shown automatically whenever you activate the AWB program, and they are hidden automatically whenever you deactivate the AWB program.  The User toolbar is shown and hidden according to system options that you can set.  (See “Customizing the Workbench” in this guide.)

The Main toolbar holds the Action Menu and buttons for the most frequently used navigation and printing commands.  See Figure 3.4 .  (Note:  The standard Excel toolbars have been hidden in Figure 3.4.)  The Action Menu provides a detailed list of AWB commands, along with their keyboard shortcuts.

Figure 3.5 shows AWB’s Navigation and User toolbars.  The Navigation Toolbar contains buttons for moving among workbooks, sheets, and forms.  As shown, the User Toolbar contains a set of buttons for editing and controlling the display of the active sheet.  However, the User Toolbar  is under your control, and you can customize it to hold any buttons you find useful.  (See the Excel Help file for information on how to customize a toolbar.)
