Project:  STEP (Sales Tax Evaluation Program)

STEP —a 300 megabyte “micro-data warehouse” in Access for a local accounting/consulting firm.  Allows multiple users to query imported mainframe records and assign sales tax attributes in a batch process.  Includes flexible reporting and spreadsheet export features.

STEP Data Scrubber—an Access tool which allows the user to normalize and scrub downloaded mainframe records to prepare them for import into the STEP system.  Enhances the STEP system to give the user end-to-end control over the sales tax evaluation process, from initial download and import to final reports and exports.
