CellHouse:  Database Storage for Spreadsheet Data

CellHouse is system that extracts cell-level data from Excel workbooks and stores it in a Jet database.  With the data stored in this structured fashion, all the power of the Access query and reporting features can be applied to it, giving the user flexible new ways to validate the contents of individual workbooks and to view collections of workbooks in the aggregate. • Comprises a cell storage database, a job definition database, and an Access client program.
• Allows the user to define and run jobs that extract data from tens or hundreds of workbooks in one operation.
